Our
Approach
The employees at ASI do not consider themselves "headhunters,"
but rather professional recruiters whose thorough understanding of both
technology and the marketplace enables them to offer clients a rare level
of strategic counsel.
ASI prides itself on establishing long-term relationships with its corporate
clients as well as those searching for their next career move. In relationships
ASI aims for a greater level of understanding of everyone's needs and
the opportunity to find the right fit for both companies and candidates.
Technology today is so complex and is changing so rapidly that it is difficult
to serve clients without this knowledge.
The recruiters maintain active relationships with potential and current
candidates. ASI spends a great deal of time getting to know the people
it works for and with. This provides them with essential information about
the future goals, technical skills, and work philosophies of the candidate.
Through such knowledge, ASI is able to present the appropriate candidates
to the companies.
ASI utilizes a similar approach with our corporate clients. Understanding
the corporate structure and philosophy along with the specific requirements
and duties is important. This gives ASI a more full picture of the type
of employee a client is seeking to hire. One of ASI’s strongest
beliefs is a simple one: "There is the right person for a job, and
there is the right job for a person." We are committed to bringing
people together.
Recruiting Methodology
ASI follows a standard methodology that gives consistency in every search.
1. Needs analysis with client to determine the profile of the ideal candidate
and the specifics of the position as well as the corporate environment,
culture, and company style.
2. Research companies and candidates to create a targeted sourcing list.
3. Check existing database and lists for leads to add to targeted list.
4. In-depth candidate interviews are performed to determine qualifications,
work history, fit within the client’s organization, and the motivations,
goals and decision criteria of the candidate.
5. Present qualified candidates to the client.
6. Coordinate interviews.
7. Prepare candidates for first interview.
8. Prepare client and candidate for any further interviews making sure
all questions are answered, so that the client is ready to make an offer
at the same time that the candidate is ready to accept one.
9. Conduct all reference and background checks before client’s request.
10. Make the offer and gain acceptance. (We assist in composing and extending
the offer and in negotiating any changes.)
11. Assist the candidate in cleanly terminating current position.
12. Follow up with client and new hire to assure new employee integration.
ASI spends a great deal of time getting to know the people it will represent.
By using behavioral interviewing techniques, we are able to dig into the
person’s past and see how they may react in the future. This provides
us with essential information about the future goals, technical skills,
and work philosophies of the candidate. Through such knowledge, ASI is
able to present the appropriate candidates to their clients.
